A: To anyone still wondering this, I just did exactly this to try it and it works just fine as long as you stir or shift the noodles at around three minutes. All I did differently was add boiling water to the fill line instead of room temperature water. Stirred once and it cooked them nicely.
I preheated a 12 fry pan on high, added about 1/4 cup water, it instantly boiled and steamed. I then quickly dumped in all the ingredients from the bowl into the pan and then covered the pan. After 20 seconds, I stirred the contents mixing everything and the noodles separated due to the steam and heat.
