You just need a good quality store-bought kimchi, ramen noodles (instant is fine), a few basic Asian cooking ingredients, and our handcrafted Korean BBQ Blend. You start this Easy Kimchi Ramen by cooking up the broth.
The foundational ingredients are similar, but what you add to it completely changes the dish. Traditional kimchi is a great addition as a ramen topping, packing a crunchy, acidic, and salty flavor that works with any broth.
Our recipe is:
  1. Boil the noodles and veggie packet (throw out the spicy soup packet or put a small amount to give it a kick)
  2. Boil two eggs in another pot.
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. Dash of onion powder, garlic powder, msg, and ground oregano.
  5. Serve boiled eggs in the soup.
Another way to appreciate the unique kimchi flavour is by enjoying kimchi ramen noodles. These are a favourite Korean dish, combining the tangy kimchi with umami seasoned ramen from Japan.
