If you get Maggi chicken flavoured instant 3 minute noodles, then they are vegetarian. These contain only chicken “flavouring”. If you get Maggi chicken flavoured instant 2 minute noodles, they are NOT vegetarian as they contain “2% chicken powder”.
High in sodium: A single serving of Maggi noodles can contain up to 40% of your daily recommended sodium intake. High sodium intake can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. Low in nutrients: Maggi noodles are low in fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
In the Philippines, localized versions of Maggi instant noodles were sold until 2011 when the product group was recalled for suspected Salmonella contamination. It did not return to market, while Nestle continues to sell seasoning products including the popular Maggi Magic Sarap.
MAGGI® Noodles manufactured in India does not contain pig fat/pork. All noodle variants available under the MAGGI® 2-minute Noodles line are completely vegetarian, except for MAGGI® Chicken Noodles, which is the only non-vegetarian variant.
If you mean Maggi Seasoning, it's both Halal and vegetarian. It is not Kosher because it has not gotten Kosher certification. The flavor extract is generally made from yeast or vegetable protein.
