Somewhere along the way, the style was developed in Yokohama as a hybrid of styles including Tonkatsu and Tori Shoyu. Basically a pork and chicken based ramen broth. Which makes sense how this broth would be less white but still have some of that pork richness to it.

From Tokyo Station, take the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen to Shin-Yokohama station. Or, a cheaper route is to take the Marunouchi Line to the Tokyu-Toyoko line. Get off at Kikuna, then take the Yokohama line one stop to Shin Yokohama. The museum is a short walk from the station.
