Data and methodology

Ganso pulls together public information on ramen & noodle restaurants throughout United States. Below, we explain where that data originates and the steps we take to keep it accurate.

Sources

The directory is assembled from OpenStreetMap and additional public listings, standardized into one format that includes opening hours, contact details and, where available, menu highlights.

Deduplication

It's common for one restaurant to show up in multiple sources - when that happens, we match entries by location and name and merge them, so each spot ends up with just one page.

How often we check

Refreshes happen periodically rather than continuously. Look for the last-checked date on each restaurant's page to see how current its data is.

Coverage

As it stands, 19120 noodle spots are listed across 1954 cities and towns throughout United States.
