Ganso is designed to be as private as a website can reasonably be. There are no user accounts, no tracking cookies set by us, and no third-party analytics or advertising scripts on our pages.

What we do not collect

Server logs

Our hosting and content delivery systems keep server logs containing technical details like IP addresses and request URLs, the same way most websites do. This is for security, abuse prevention and monitoring performance - not for building personal profiles.

Map tiles

Map images on this site (the tiles you see on interactive maps) are served by OpenStreetMap's infrastructure, not by us. When a tile loads, your browser makes a standard request to that provider, which includes your IP address. The OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy covers how that's handled.

External links

Buttons such as Directions open third-party services (for example, map and navigation apps) that have their own privacy policies. Links to restaurant websites lead to sites we don't control.
